The pitch at Fulham is small...which makes precision a must. We didn't have precision, but were able to keep them out. We need to be more consistent in our quality.
I literally did not know that PL pitches can be different sizes. My mind has just been blown. And this explains why so many of the pitches Spurs have played on in the Europa League have looked oddly tiny to me.
But yes, wholeheartedly agree that consistency is still the missing link. All across the lineup. Kind of seems like when our offense improves, the defense suffers, and vice versa. The midfield contingent has been better, but not necessarily in a good way--usually lacking offensive contributions.
